The Harvested Story

“The Harvest was the name that I wanted but I felt God unction me to change it to “The Harvested.” In the Holy Bible, scripture says "the harvest truly is plenteous but the laborers are few." At one point, I felt lost, confused and lonely. The life I was living was not beneficial to anyone and caused more harm than good. Essentially, I was the harvest. I did not know but I was ready for someone to reach me. I truly believe someone’s prayers touched heaven and saved me from the destructive road I was on. I soon became the harvested. Now, that is what I want to inspire people to do. I want to encourage individuals to go from being the harvest to becoming "The Harvested.” I want to help restore compassion, patience, and love for humanity back into my community."
Charlene is a wife and mother to two beautiful girls. In her free time, you can find her spending time with close friends and family, discovering new, fun hobbies and occasionally being a labor/delivery and postpartum doula.
The Harvested Backstory
Originally, the company name was "The Harvest Doula Services" with a focus on caring for pregnant women pre and postpartum from a faith-based approach. The Harvest Doula Services began in 2019 but as Covid sprang forth in 2020, services took a drastic halt and gave a lot of time for a much needed revision. That revision included the birth of a new name with the addition of hand-poured, scented prayer candles. In March of 2024, The Harvested, LLC launched their candles and it has continued to scale ever since.
Misson
At The Harvested, LLC, our mission is to create prayer candles that serves as a beacon of light and encouragement. Each candle is handcrafted with prayer and intention, designed to encourage and deepen one’s relationship with God.
